Ted Klimczak, CPA TED KLIMCZAK, CPA
“I want my clients to be better off and live better lives because I’m their CPA,” says Ted. Ted spent more than a decade doing both corporate accounting and public accounting before founding his own firm, Klimczak and Associates, in 1987. At Price Waterhouse in the 1980s, he audited Fortune 500 companies. In the late 1970s, he was a staff accountant and supervisor for over 140 locations at Stouffer’s. Ted has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from John Carroll University and served in the U.S. Marines. He and his wife, Janet, have six sons and three grandchildren. MARK CHAPMAN, CPA
Mark received his master’s degree in taxation and his bachelor’s degree in accounting, both from the University of Akron. He has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. Mark has also taught tax and finance at the university level. He and his wife, Nadine, have two daughters and two grandsons. Mark’s son-in-law, David Mathena, also is a staff accountant at DKC.
Prior to joining DKC in 1992, George was a partner in the regional firm Sorkin, Thayer & Company, which merged in 1983 with Coopers & Lybrand. There he also specialized in construction and not-for-profits. George graduated from the University of Akron with his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He and his wife, Crystal, have a daughter and a son. His son, Scott, is a staff accountant at DKC.
Prior to joining DKC in September, 2007, Dave was a manager in auditing services for a national accounting firm where he worked for more than a decade. Dave received his accounting degree from The University of Akron. He and his wife, Karen, reside in Macedonia and have two sons.
